2Ti + 6HF → 2TiF3 + 3H2


Titanium react with hydrogen fluoride to produce titanium(III) fluoride and hydrogen. Hydrogen fluoride - gas. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 70-200°C in a hydrogene atmosphere.
