Titanium(III) chloride react with titanium(IV) oxide

2TiCl3 + TiO2 → 2TiOCl + TiCl4


Titanium(III) chloride react with titanium(IV) oxide to produce titanium oxide-chloride and titanium(IV) chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 650°C in vacuo.
