Titanium(IV) oxide react with calcium hydride

TiO2 + 2CaH2 → TiH2 + 2CaO + H2


Titanium(IV) oxide react with calcium hydride to produce titanium(II) hydride, calcium oxide and hydrogen. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 300-400°C.
