Vanadyl sulfate react with potassium permanganate and water to produce vanadium(V) oxide, manganese(II) sulfate, sulfuric acid and potassium sulfate. Vanadyl sulfate - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution in the diluted solution sulfuric acid.
