Sodium tetrahydroxoborate(III) react with phosphoric acid to produce diborane, sodium dihydrogen phosphate and hydrogen.

Tetrahydroxoborate(III) sodium - solid. Phosphoric acid - liquid. The yield was 70%. [16]
