Ag2Se + Na2CO3 + O2 → 2Ag + Na2SeO3 + CO2


Silver(I) selenide react with sodium carbonate and oxygen to produce silver, sodium selenite and carbon dioxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 650°C.
