3SCl2 + 4NaF → SF4 + S2Cl2 + 4NaCl


Sulfur(II) chloride react with sodium fluoride to produce sulfur tetrafluoride, dichlorodisulfane and sodium chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 68-72°C in the acetonitrile.[8,17]
