SiCl4 + Li[AlH4] → LiCl + AlCl3 + SiH4


Silicon(IV) chloride react with lithium tetrahydroxoaluminate to produce lithium chloride, aluminum chloride and silane. The reaction proceeds in the medium of ester, at a temperature near 0°C.
