Al2(SO4)3 + 3Na2S + 4H2O → 2AlO(OH) + 3H2S + 3Na2SO4


Aluminum sulfate react with sodium sulfide and water to produce aluminium metahydroxide, hydrogen sulfide and sodium sulfate. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
