3As4S4 + 16NaOH → 4NaAsO2 + 4As + 4Na[AsS3] + 8H2O




Tetraarsenic tetrasulfide react with sodium hydroxide to produce sodium metaarsenite, arsenic, tritioarsenate(III) sodium and water. Sodium hydroxide - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
