Gold react with selenic acid

2Au + 6H2SeO4 → Au2(SeO4)3 + 3SeO2 + 6H2O




Gold react with selenic acid to produce gold(III) selenate, selenium(IV) oxide and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 200°C.
