2BBr3 + 3H2SO4 → 2H3BO3 + 3Br2 + 3SO2




Boron(III) bromide react with sulfuric acid to produce orthoboric acid, bromine and sulfur dioxide. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
