2Mg3B2 + 4H3PO4 → B4H10 + 2Mg3(PO4)2 + H2




Magnesium boride react with phosphoric acid to produce tetraborane, magnesium phosphate and hydrogen. This reaction takes place at a temperature of no more 10°C.
