Orthoboric acid react with sodium peroxide and water

2H3BO3 + 2Na2O2 + 6H2O → Na2[B2(O2)2(OH)4]•6H2O + 2NaOH




Orthoboric acid react with sodium peroxide and water to produce hexahydrate tetrahydroxodiperoxoborate(III) sodium and sodium hydroxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 0°C.
