Barium carbonate react with hydrogen sulfide

BaCO3 + H2S → BaS + CO2 + H2O


Barium carbonate react with hydrogen sulfide to produce barium sulfide, carbon dioxide and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 1000°C, in a flow hydrogen.
