2BiOCl + 3H2SO4 → Bi2(SO4)3 + 2H2O + 2HCl




Bismuth(III) oxide-chloride react with sulfuric acid to produce bismuth(III) sulfate, water and hydrogen chloride. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
