3Br2 + 8(NH3•H2O) → 6NH4Br + N2 + 8H2O


Bromine react with ammonium hydroxide to produce ammonium bromide, nitrogen and water. Ammonium hydroxide - diluted solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 40-50°C.
