Calcium hydride react with calcium sulfate

2CaH2 + CaSO4 → CaS + 2CaO + 2H2O




Calcium hydride react with calcium sulfate to produce calcium sulfide, calcium oxide and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 650-700°C.
