CdS + 10HNO3 → Cd(NO3)2 + 8NO2 + H2SO4 + 4H2O




Cadmium(II) sulfide react with nitric acid to produce cadmium(II) nitrate , nitrogen dioxide, sulfuric acid and water. Nitric acid - concentrated heated solution.
