[Co2(CO)8] + 2NO → 2[Co(CO)3NO] + 2CO




Oktacarbonyldicobalt react with nitric oxide to produce nitrosotricarbonylcobalt and carbon monoxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 40°C, in the dark.
