2CrCl2 + H[SnCl3] → 2CrCl3 + Sn + HCl




Chromium(II) chloride react with hydrogen trichloridostannate(II) to produce chromium(III) chloride, tin and hydrogen chloride. The reaction takes place in a diluted solution hydrogen chloride. This reaction takes place slowly.
