2CrCl3 + 3Na2S2O4 + 12NaOH + 4C6H6 → 2[Cr(C6H6)2] + 6Na2SO3 + 6NaCl + 6H2O




Chromium(III) chloride react with sodium dithionite, sodium hydroxide and benzene to produce bis(benzene)chromium, sodium sulfite, sodium chloride and water. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
