4CrO2Cl2 + C2H5OH → 2Cr2O3 + 2CrOCl2 + 4HCl + H2O




Chromyl chloride react with ethanol to produce chromium(III) oxide, oxide-dichromium chloride, hydrogen chloride and water. Ethanol - anhydrous.
