CuCl + 3HNO3 → Cu(NO3)2 + HCl + NO2 + H2O


Copper(I) chloride react with nitric acid to produce copper nitrate, hydrogen chloride, nitrogen dioxide and water. Nitric acid - concentrated heated solution.
