4CuI + 5H2SO4 → 4CuSO4 + 2I2 + H2S + 4H2O




Copper(I) iodide react with sulfuric acid to produce copper sulfate, iodine, hydrogen sulfide and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated heated solution.
