Copper nitrate react with hydrate hydroxylamine

4Cu(NO3)2 + 12(NH2OH•H2O) → 4CuN3 + 9N2O + 12NH3 + 27H2O




Copper nitrate react with hydrate hydroxylamine to produce copper(I) azide, dinitrogen monoxide, ammonia and water. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
