Iron react with oxalic acid and water

Fe + H2C2O4 + 2H2O → FeC2O4•2H2O + H2




Iron react with oxalic acid and water to produce dihydrate iron(II) oxalate and hydrogen. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 30-50°C.
