2K4[Fe(CN)6] + Br2 → 2K3[Fe(CN)6] + 2KBr


Potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) react with bromine to produce hexacyanoferrate(III) and potassium bromide. The reaction takes place in a diluted solution hydrogen bromide.
