Potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) react with nitric acid to produce nitric oxide, hydrogen cyanide, pentacyanoaquaferrate(III) potassium and potassium nitrate. Nitric acid - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
