FeI2 + 2H2SO4 → FeSO4 + I2 + SO2 + 2H2O




Iron(II iodide react with sulfuric acid to produce iron(II) sulfate, iodine, sulfur dioxide and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated heated solution.
