Ammonium-iron(III) sulfate react with water

2FeNH4(SO4) + 2H2O → 2Fe(OH)SO4 + H2SO4 + (NH4)2SO4




Ammonium-iron(III) sulfate react with water to produce hydroxide-iron(III) sulfate, sulfuric acid and ammonium sulfate. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 175°C and an overpressure.
