Fe3(PO4)2 + 2Fe2C + 3Fe → 2Fe3P + 6FeO + 2CO




Iron(II) orthophosphate react with iron carbide and iron to produce iron phosphide, iron(II) oxide and carbon monoxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 1600°C.
