2FeS2 + 14H2SO4 → Fe2(SO4)3 + 15SO2 + 14H2O


Iron(II) disulfide react with and sulfuric acid to produce iron(III) sulfate, sulfur dioxide and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
