Germanium(IV) oxide react with hypophosphorous acid and water

GeO2 + H3PO2 + H2O → Ge(OH)2 + H3PO3




Germanium(IV) oxide react with hypophosphorous acid and water to produce germanium(II) hydroxide and phosphorous acid. Hypophosphorous acid - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 100°C.
