GeS + 10HNO3 → GeO2 + H2SO4 + 10NO2 + 4H2O




Germanium(II) sulfide react with nitric acid to produce germanium(IV) oxide, sulfuric acid, nitrogen dioxide and water. Nitric acid - concentrated heated solution.
