Hf(SO4)2 + 2H2O → Hf(OH)2SO4 + H2SO4


Hafnium(IV) sulfate react with water to produce hafnium(IV) dihydroxide-sulfate and sulfuric acid. Hafnium(IV) sulfate - saturated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of over 60°C.
