Mercury(I) bromide react with nitric acid

Hg2Br2 + 6HNO3 → 2Hg(NO3)2 + 2HBr + 2NO2 + 2H2O




Mercury(I) bromide react with nitric acid to produce mercury(II) nitrate, hydrogen bromide, nitrogen dioxide and water. Nitric acid - concentrated solution.
