HgCl2 + 2(NH3•H2O) → HgNH2Cl + NH4Cl + 2H2O


Mercury(II) chloride react with ammonium hydroxide to produce mercury(II) chloride-amide, ammonium chloride and water. The reaction proceeds at room temperature.
