Mercury(I) chloride react with sulfuric acid

Hg2Cl2 + 2H2SO4 → HgCl2 + HgSO4 + SO2 + 2H2O




Mercury(I) chloride react with sulfuric acid to produce mercury(II) chloride, mercury(II) sulfate, sulfur dioxide and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated heated solution.
