2HgF2 + 4(NH3•H2O) → Hg2NF•H2O + 3NH4F + 3H2O




Mercury(II) fluoride react with ammonium hydroxide to produce hydrate dimercury(II) fluoride-nitride, ammonium fluoride and water. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
