5PbO2 + I2 + 8HNO3 → Pb(IO3)2 + 4Pb(NO3)2 + 4H2O




Lead(IV) oxide react with iodine and nitric acid to produce lead(II) iodate, lead(II) nitrate and water. Nitric acid - diluted solution.
