Iridium react with potassium bisulfate

2Ir + 6KHSO4 → 2K3[Ir(SO4)3] + 3H2


Iridium react with potassium bisulfate to produce trisulfatoiridate(III) potassium and hydrogen. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 300-400°C. Impurities: - oxide sulfur(IV) SO2.
