Iridium(IV) chloride react with ammonium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide and sodium hypophosphite

2IrCl4 + 10(NH3•H2O) + 3NaOH + NaH2PO2 → 2[Ir(H2O)(NH3)5]Cl3 + Na2HPO3 + 2NaCl + 10H2O

Iridium(IV) chloride react with ammonium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide and sodium hypophosphite to produce pentaammineaquairidium(III) chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphite, sodium chloride and water. Ammonium hydroxide - concentrated solution. Sodium hydroxide - diluted solution.
