4H2[IrCl6] + 2H2O → 4H3[IrCl6] + O2




Hydrogen hexachloridoiridate(IV) react with water to produce hexachloridoiridate hydrogen(III) and oxygen. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution in the diluted solution hydrogen chloride.
