2Ir2(SO4)3 + 12NaOH + O2 → 4IrO2 + 6Na2SO4 + 6H2O




Iridium(III) sulfate react with sodium hydroxide and oxygen to produce iridium(IV) oxide, sodium sulfate and water. Sodium hydroxide - diluted solution. This reaction slowly takes place on air.
