3K2CO3 + 2FeBr3 + H2O → 6KBr + 2FeO(OH) + 3CO2




Potassium carbonate react with iron(III) bromide and water to produce potassium bromide, iron(III) oxide-hydroxide and carbon dioxide. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
