2K2CrO4 + 16HCl → 2CrCl3 + 3Cl2 + 4KCl + 8H2O




Potassium chromate react with hydrogen chloride to produce chromium(III) chloride, chlorine, potassium chloride and water. Hydrogen chloride - 36% heated solution.
