K2Cr2O7 + 2H2SO4 → 2KHSO4 + 2CrO3 + H2O




Potassium dichromate react with sulfuric acid to produce potassium bisulfate, chromium trioxide and water. Sulfuric acid - 96% solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 75-90°C.
