K2Cr2O7 + 8HCl + 3C2H5OH → 2CrCl3 + 2CH3CHO + 2KCl + 7H2O




Potassium dichromate react with hydrogen chloride and ethanol to produce chromium(III) chloride, acetaldehyde, potassium chloride and water. Hydrogen chloride - diluted solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
