4K2FeO4 + 3Cr(OH)2 → 4FeO(OH) + 3K2CrO4 + 2KOH


Potassium ferrate react with chromium(II) hydroxide to produce iron(III) oxide-hydroxide, potassium chromate and potassium hydroxide. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
